Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka shankar is a British and American sitar player. She also performs music. She received the British House of Commons' Shield as the youngest, and first female recipient. Apart from receiving nine Grammy nominations and nine Grammy nominations, she also became the first Indian-born musician to present at and perform at the award ceremony. Anoushka Shankar is an emerging young star of the Indian sitar. She is a student and sister of Ravi Shankar. Her birthplace was in London in 1982 and began her life by hopping back and forth between London in London and New Delhi. When she was only 13 when her first performance in New Delhi took place. She then moved to Encinitas CA, where she earned the High School diploma with honors in 1999. Even though she's very young, Anouskha is a star in her performing and recording record.
